Treat yourself and your loved ones with this healthy chocolate walnut bars 🙂 Super delicious and so easy to make. No baking required! I will add some more photos soon as I honestly didn’t think I will share it here. It was just one of the ideas to make something without knowing how it comes out! And it is so yummy that I have to add it into my blog so I won’t forget how I did it. Let me know how you liked it!
Healthy Treat – Chocolate Walnut Bars – No Baking
- 2 cups walnuts
- 1 cup dried dates
- 1/2 cup sultanas
- 1/2 dried cranberries
- 1 tbs natural peanut butter
- 1 tbs honey
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- dash of salt
Combine in a food processor into a nice and sticky dough. Spread on a baking paper (into a size which is twice as big as your mold) and leave in a fridge for 20 minutes.
Melt 200g dark chocolate in a water bath (pot in water pot) with little water and one spoon of coconut oil.
Line the mold with baking paper, cut the walnuts mixture in half, press one layer into the mold, spread half of the chocolate on top, add the second half into the mold and spread with remaining chocolate. Sprinkle with some crashed walnuts on top and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours before cutting into slices. Yum! Yummmm! 😀
